Butterfly on Pertovka

The very first cinema Butterfly was opened in Kiev in September 2001. There are three halls (one for 250 and two for 139 seats). Its main difference from other Kiev cinemas is the modern technologies, developed for such buildings.

Cinema Butterfly on Petrovka is situated on the second floor of shopping center "Mega Market". Its hall is constructed in the form of amphitheatre and all viewers can see, what is happening on the screen, well. Special acoustic surface was used in the cinema to minimize sound distortion and transmit sound effects clear. Sound quality is also attained by six-channel sound system Dolby Digital Surround Ex.

The interior of cinema Butterfly on Petrovka won the second place in the category "Project of ultra-modern interior in high-tech style" in All-Ukrainian interior and design competition. In huge spacious hall of cinema Butterfly on Petrovka there is the longest in Kiev bar, where one can taste drinks, cocktails, desserts, snacks and pop-corn of course. 12 screens, broadcasting music shows, are placed in the hall. Sports fans can make theirself comfortable in the separate hall, where it is possible to watch sports programs on four screens and drink a glass of bear. Also there are 14 kinds of game machines.
